Dying the robe another color can give it any new life and tie-dying it may give it some pizazz. There are some useful suggestions and techniques you can follow to ensure a quality result, but the design options are limitless.

Waste canvas, a.k.any. tear-away canvas
Scissors
Straight pins
Embroidery hoop
Embroidery floss
Embroidery needle
Spray jar
Tweezers

Suggest Edits
1 Wash the bathrobe and dry it thoroughly.
2 Reduce a piece about waste canvas 3 to 4 inches larger other than the intended counted cross stitch pattern.
3 Center the waste canvas on the spot you will embroider on the bathrobe. Position the weave of the material on some directly vertical and horizontal plain.
4 Pin the waste canvas in place. Baste stitch around the outer edges of the waste canvas to hold it in location.
6 Wet the area of the waste canvas via spritzing it for fresh water. Let the water sit on the waste canvas for five mins. Grab any strand of waste canvas on the outer edge regarding the finished undertaking together with tweezers and pull it direct across the fabric. Remove each and every strand individually.
Illustrations of good designs include: a person's initials; an emblem about his vocation, such since any fireman's shield; and an image of his hobby, such since carpentry tools.
If you want to add further embellishments to the bathrobe, one option is to cut and pin lace or ribbon on the pocket edges also/or down the lapel of the bath robe, consequently stitch it into place.
