Subio gave me my birthday present.
It was a book: The giving tree.
Subio called me this morning to my mum's flat. ( I slept in my mum's flat as felt very tired and sick last night. Maryana, HoYoung, two kids, and I had a long trip from Seoul to Daejeon after Meeting George Church in the Korean Medical Association's 100th anniversary. )
Subio told me he had a present for my birthday. He said it was a book. He was not supposed to tell me before he opened it. He was hiding the present behind him. I could peek and see a green book.
He untied the knot of the present. He asked me which string to pull to untie it. He asked me to read the book for him. As I could not read the book because my emotion hindering me doing so, I asked Maryana to do that. She read the book while he was looking at the pictures. He asked me to "see" one of the pages where there were many apples on the ground. He gestured that he grab all the apples with his hand and take them to his mouth pretending he eats all of them, and laughed amazingly bright laughs.
Subio is bright and positive. He is a ball of charm and energy.
